Strawberry Pretzel Bars Recipe

Ingredients:

PRETZEL CRUST:
  • 2 cups finely crushed pretzels
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup (11 Tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
CREAM CHEESE LAYER:
  • 2 (8 0z.) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 Tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Cool Whip topping, thawed
STRAWBERRY JELLO LAYER:
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 (6 oz.) package strawberry jello
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water
  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350F degrees. Line a 13×9 inch baking pan with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.

MAKE CRUST:

  1. In a medium sized bowl, mix pretzel crumbs, sugar, and butter together to form crust.
  2. Press pretzel crust into the bottom of prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.

MAKE CREAM CHEESE LAYER:

  1. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, mix cream cheese, sugar, and milk together until light and fluffy. Stir in Cool Whip.
  2. Spread cream cheese mixture over pretzel crust. Place in fridge until ready to use.

MAKE STRAWBERRY JELLO LAYER:

  1. In a medium sized bowl, stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until jello is thickened. Stir in sliced strawberries.
  2. Spoon strawberry jello over cream cheese layer. Place in fridge for 3 hours or until jello is firm. Cut into squares and enjoy!

Ingredients
  • 2 quarts strawberries
  • 5 heaping cups sugar
  • ½ cup lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Wash strawberries and remove the stems.
  2. Chop, mash or puree strawberries and stir in the sugar. Let sit for 2 hours.
  3. Add strawberry mixture to a large pot and cook slow over medium heat until it boils, stirring often. Then turn up the heat to med-high and boil fast for 5 more minutes.
  4. Add in lemon juice and stir. Boil 5 minutes longer.
  5. Pour jam into clean jars and add lids. Place in a hot water bath canner and boil for 10 minutes. Remove from water and let cool to room temperature. Store in a cool dry place for up to 1 year.

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. Fresh Strawberries
  • ¾ c. Sugar
  • 2 c. Water
Instructions
  1. Wash the strawberries and lay on paper towels to dry.
  2. Hull all of the strawberries.
  3. Slice up 1 lb. of strawberries in large chunks and place on a baking sheet. Put them in the freezer for a few hours or until frozen.
  4. Place the remaining 1 lb. of strawberries in a med. sauce pan with the sugar and water.
  5. Simmer over med. heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove pan from heat and let cool completely.
  7. Add frozen strawberries and cooled strawberry mixture into a blender and blend on high 3-4 minutes, until creamy.
  8. Pour into a freezer safe container and freeze overnight.

Ingredients
  • The Night Before:
  • ½ Cup Regular Oatmeal
  • ½ Cup Greek Yogurt
Mix together in a bowl, cover and let rest in the refrigerator overnight.
  • 16 oz. Frozen Strawberries
  • 1 Cup Milk (whatever kind you prefer, almond milk works great)
  • Ice (enough to reach the 1½ cup line in the blender)
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Scoop Protein Powder (whatever flavor you like) or 1 banana
Instructions
  1. If you didn’t let your oatmeal sit overnight, that’s okay, you can go ahead with the recipe as follows: In your blender add yogurt, oatmeal, ice, strawberries, protein powder (or banana), milk and water.
  2. Blend until creamy and thick.
  3. Serve with a wide straw. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package cinnamon rolls (Pillsbury, I used Grand Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Icing)
  • 1 cup of strawberry jam
  • 2 cups chopped fresh strawberries

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Spray glass pie plate or baking sheet with non-stick spray. Set aside.
  2. Unroll the cinnamon rolls and press together the seams. Spread with strawberry jam and sprinkle with chopped strawberries. Make sure to not go all the way to the edge. Gently roll up the cinnamon rolls. Cut into 5 even slices. Place in a glass pie plate.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes. Melt cream cheese icing in microwave for 20 seconds and drizzle over warm strawberry cinnamon rolls. Let cool slightly before eating. Top with more chopped strawberries if desired.

Ingredients
  • 8 cups mixed greens
  • 2 fresh peaches, sliced
  • 12 strawberries, sliced
  • ½ large cucumber, sliced
  • ½ cup goat cheese
  • ½ cup sliced almonds

Dressing:

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Place greens in a large bowl and top with peaches, strawberries, cucumber, goat cheese, and almonds. Whisk the dressing ingredients together in a small bowl (or shake them in a mason jar) and pour over the salad when ready to serve.
